The reason why we usually suggest making your own when it comes to cooking is because you can tweak the flavor better, make sure that quality ingredients are being used, and know exactly what goes in the recipe. I am not familiar with that specific marinade, but here are a couple of things to check: read the ingredients list and make sure that preservatives, artificial/natural flavor and color were not added.
