What’s in My Bag? Summer Beauty Essentials

Summer is around the corner! Whether you’re traveling or settling for a stay-cation, everyone is always eager to know the easiest way to pack your essential beauty items. I’m always torn on which ones to take, but after some time, I’ve narrowed down my list to these all-natural must-have items that I’ll definitely be carrying around with me this summer.

1.Tinted Moisturizer: Radiant Glow Tinted Facial Moisturizer

If you’re going to be spending most of your time outdoors or at the beach, using heavy foundation is damaging to your skin and could cause clogged pores and blemishes. Using a tinted moisturizer will hydrate your skin and offer some protection from UV rays, while still giving you subtle coverage. Tinted moisturizers are lightweight and leave your skin looking dewy, healthy, and natural–which is what you’ll want on a hot, summer beach day.

2. Rose Water: Flower Water Body Mist

It seems like everyone knows the hydrating benefits of rose water for the skin. I especially tend to get dry skin with the South Florida heat during the summertime — that’s when I whip out this rose water body spray by Home Health. Other than keeping my skin refreshed and hydrated, rose water has anti-inflammatory properties that aid in reducing redness and acne, and it alleviates irritated skin. Now you can feel confident going to the beach or out on the town with less makeup, knowing that this spray has your back.

3. Faux Glow: Overnight Competition Color

Although you’ll probably want to be tanning it up all summer long, it’s important to remember that too much sun can also be harmful for your skin. On days where I feel like I could use more color, instead of working overtime under the scorching sun, I usually try to pick up a self tanner. This is a great way to look like you’ve been taking advantage of the season without adding serious damage to your skin.

4. Tinted Lip Balm: Kissable Color Gift Set, Cool Collection

I love carrying around tinted lip balms. It’s a perfect beauty hack of mine to fix dry, chapped lips, while adding a pop of color to my effortless and bright summer look.

Hopefully, this summer go-to guide will help you know the kinds of beauty products that are going to be your best friends these upcoming months. Now that you know my favorite beauty products for the season, you can confidently start packing for you next summer vacay!
