Overnight Oats

If you’re like me, always in a hurry in the morning, you try to find the best and most convenient breakfast you can possible have. When I first heard about overnight oats I have to admit that I was extremely hesitant to try it. I’ve never been a huge fan of oatmeal so the thought of not actually cooking it and having it cold made me cringe a little.

Well, thank goodness that I finally gave in. I’m obsessed now. Who would have thought that I would actually prefer having my oats cold? It’s delicious, filling, and you get to experiment so much with it. I’ve made them plain, with chocolate, with fruits, with granola, and even peanut butter. The options are literally limitless.

Oats are a great option for breakfast because not only do they help fill you up, but they actually provide health benefits. Eating oats may possible help improve your blood sugar levels, heart health, digestion, and even your skin. Those are good enough reasons for me.

One thing you will learn about me is that when I become infatuated with something, I make sure I share it with the world and insist on everyone trying it. This is why I put together these four recipes. I made them all different to satisfy different taste buds.

I personally sweeten my oats with either honey or agave. You can choose other healthy ways to sweeten yours. Some people prefer not to sweeten them at all. It’s up to you and what you feel is best for you.
