The #1 Time Saving Tip For Healthy Eating
Welcome to Day #13 of PureFormulas’ Sugar Crush Challenge: 30 days of tips, recipes, and tools to help you cut down on sugar and crush those cravings!
When one is told that planning will save time, it might seem quite hard to take them seriously. Planning takes time and one hardly has time to go grocery shopping  much less having to plan your trip to the supermarket. But think about all the time you waste having to go aisle by aisle, trying to remember and think “do I need this?”–not counting the time you waste having to go back to the supermarket after finding out you forgot the essential toilet paper.
If you are not used to making “the list,” this might take a little getting used to at first. But after you get into the habit, not having the list with you when you do your groceries will almost feel like leaving your wallet at home.
What goes in the list?
Before writing down the items you feel you might need, create your menu for the week. Based on that, make your grocery list. Take one hour planning your meals and snacks and save many hours during the week!
We created a meal plan and shopping list guide to help you get started!
Meal Plan and Shopping List Guide
After your trip to the supermarket and before storing away your groceries, how about doing a little prepping for the week! A great way to make sure that you eat healthy snacks in between your meals is having them available at all times. Be prepared and pack your snacks for the week before Monday comes around. Here’s an idea we like to use, store in Ziploc bags labeled Monday through Friday all your snacks for the week.
What about you? How do you like to get ready for the week?
