When planning to go on a mission one must also think about what tools will be essential to help us succeed. The same applies to the Sugar Crush Challenge!
Although buying ready-to-eat products is practical and might seem like a good idea at the time, preparing meals and snacks yourself allows you to have better control of what you are eating. Yes, ladies and gents, we have to go back to the kitchen!
A really important tool for this challenge will be having access to healthy (and most importantly) deliciously easy recipes. If the recipes are complicated and take too much time, chances are it will be a lot harder to stay in the Sugar Crush team – especially with today’s rushed lifestyle.
For the most part, if you cook your own foods, it’s fairly easy to control the amount of added sugars. For the most part. The only exception is desserts. When you have a sweet tooth and crave something other than fruits, how does one not fall back into the bitter sweet old ways? Well, here’s the answer – by being naturally sweet! Instead of adding sugar or other substitutes to your sweet recipes, use spices and fruits.
